Events & Festivals
Event & festival production
You have a vision. I help you build it, from concept to execution, at every level of scale.
That means experience architecture (the shape of the whole event), programming (who plays and performs, and when), energy curation (how the mood of the room builds and lands) and environment design (the space itself). I have done it for the series I founded, Deep Playa NYC and Her Name Is Shakti, as Music Director of CAMP Festival, and as a commissioned artist at Philadelphia's Mütter Museum.
I'm equal parts business and creative. I can read a P&L as fluently as I read a room. Having run two Brooklyn venues, I understand both sides of the equation: the producer bringing an experience to life and the operator carrying the risk, margins and logistics.

What I do
Creative direction, design & production
Event strategy
The systems, strategy and infrastructure that turn a vision into something real, repeatable and sustainable.
Festival production
From concept to execution, at every level of scale, for crowds of 1,200 and more.
Series programming
Recurring events with their own identity. Deep Playa NYC: 50+ events from 2020 to 2026. Her Name Is Shakti: 2022 to 2025.
Creative direction
Lighting, décor and production management.
Energy architecture
How a gathering moves from the moment it opens to the moment it closes: the pacing of music, light and activity that builds the room and brings it home.
Music direction
Selecting, onboarding and looking after DJs and live musicians, as I did for CAMP Festival.
Stage design
Stages and environments co-designed and built, including a 360° round DJ booth. See stage design.
Events & festivals
Deep Playa NYC
Marathon sunrise sets with 14-foot trampolines, 6-foot beach balls and slip n' slides into the ocean. 50+ events, crowds to 1,200.
I founded Deep Playa NYC in 2020 and sold it in 2026.
Tiny Rave
Brooklyn's kids rave and family dance party: a themed kid disco at Bogart House, where kids and their grown-ups dance side by side. Real house and techno from real DJs, a Funktion-One sound system run at a kid-safe 85 dB, and a new theme every party.
I co-founded Tiny Rave in 2026 with Geronimo, and I DJ every party as its Chief Rave Fairy. It's my love letter to the next generation of dance floor kids. TinyRave.co (opens in a new tab)
Mini Rave
My private-party spin on Tiny Rave: private family raves at your home, backyard or venue, with a live DJ, sound and party lights, dance games and a photo booth, in three packages from Little Boogie to Mega Rave.
Choreomania
Commissioned for the Mütter's Halloween event: an open-to-close DJ journey, complete with immersive ritual theatre.
The Mütter Museum in Philadelphia commissioned it in 2025 and again in 2026. More on the performance.
Her Name Is Shakti
Her Name Is Shakti was the Brooklyn event series I created to champion female brilliance, behind the decks and beyond. Each night was a one-night boutique: women DJs and artists on the lineup, with women-owned small businesses, sound healers, oracle readers and reproductive health educators sharing their work, in an inclusive space for everyone to explore, express and evolve.
Shakti is the Sanskrit word for energy, strength and power: the primal creative force of the divine feminine. With women still only about 30% of DJs and fewer than 10% of producers, Shakti set out to move that needle. Artists included Just Emma, Alice Iguchi, Catori, DJ Tory and Acid Alien. The series ran from 2022 to 2025.
Music Director, Calling All Magical People
I led a team of 3 to select, onboard and look after the largest community of DJs and live musicians in the festival community.
I also designed a stage for CAMP every year from 2022 to 2025. See the stages.
Kind words
In their words
The best part of the night.
“I LOVED the DJ. Didn’t really think I was a dance tracks person but here we are. It was absolutely the best part of the night, tipped it over the edge into something out of Guillermo del Toro red death style.”
Daniela is such a vibe.
“We brought Daniela in to DJ our company holiday party last December, and she was awesome!! From our first conversation she was completely professional, thoroughly prepared, and incredibly easy and fun to work with. She moved effortlessly between house and techno and even worked in some hip hop classics and reggaeton so there was something for everyone on the dance floor. People of every age were dancing and having a great time. We loved having her. Daniela is such a vibe, and we’d recommend her to anyone looking for a great dj at their event!”
She gets it done!
“Daniela hired us to provide sound reinforcement for a Halloween party she produced in 2025. She was completely on-point from the beginning stages to completion. She has a special ability to handle any challenge head on with absolute grace. She gets it done! She is a creative powerhouse, clear communicator, extremely professional, and a breeze to work with. We look forward to collaboration with Daniela on any project or event, she is a joy to work with!”
We were lucky to have her.
“Then she became our Music Director, and for three years she took charge of a tough role. At a community festival, where so many of our DJs and musicians are also close friends, placing artists every year while keeping the lineups fresh is a real balancing act. Daniela pulled it off with grace and a true community heart, never forgetting that the whole point is joy and connection. She took a bare-bones process and turned it into a full user journey for our artists and our team, cultivated the largest community within the festival, and connected DJs and live musicians in ways you rarely see anywhere. We were lucky to have her. Thanks, Daniela!”
